Charlotte Harbor’s pristine blue green estuary is protected by having five contiguous aquatic preserves in the harbor. Boaters have miles of open water to enjoy before heading out into the Gulf of Mexico. Both the Myakka and the Peace River empty into Charlotte Harbor adding even more boating possibilities. You can travel for miles on the Intracoastal Waterway or just take a short trip to a barrier island.

Marinas and boat ramps are abundant, and waterfront communities allow you to dock your boat right in your own backyard. Southwest Florida is truly a boater’s paradise.
