A Letter of Thanks
Dear Shannon,
Over three years ago, Joe and I began a quest to find our place in the sun, or as we prefer to think of it, our “piece of paradise.’
So began our search!
Like so many others, our mission led us to the internet were we were extremely fortunate to find the “The Moore Team”. A brief note to you set the proverbial ball rolling! Your almost instantaneous response reassured us we were in the best of hands.
To say that we were working with a great agent somehow diminishes your talent for your profession, to say the least. Your honesty, dedication, expertise, knowledge and incredible zeal made a long and arduous process not so bad after all!! What would we have done without you? You are the consummate professional and we benefited from having you by our side for THREE YEARS while we changed our game plan many times over. And indeed we did! From the onset when we were looking at land, you walked all those many lots with us, you advised us on impact fees, insurance prices in flood plains and educated us on the dreaded Scrub Jay! You also answered all our questions even resorting to on the spot phone calls to local city planners and others in the building trade.
When the market changed we saw an opportunity to purchase a new builders home for considerably less than building ourselves and still have our Dream Home. With our new focus, again you took the reins, advised us and pointed us in the right direction. When the time came you brought us on a caravan of home tours of no less than sixty to seventy homes. I lost count and I’m sure you did too! I remembered how you weeded out all the listings I mailed down from Connecticut and explained why each one was not what we were looking for, saving us valuable time. As usual you never missed a beat, you found us a phenomenal home, everything we wanted, all criteria was met and more, we are living our dream, a culmination of ten years of planning! The last three was however the most fun, working with you, getting to know both you and Roxanne, the other half of the awesome “Moore Team”.
In closing, Joe and I want to thank you both for being our agents and for completing our real estate deal long distance between Connecticut and Florida. You both took care of every detail and made what is normally a difficult, stressful and hair trigging experience one that wound up being pretty darn easy!
Maybe we can clone you, then instead of doing five times the work a regular agent does, you’d be able to do ten times the work… Think of the possibilities?!

As the former marketing director of two large real estate firms, and now as a Realtor, I realize the value of technology, communication, product knowledge, and integrity to our customers.
I was recently emailed by a home buyer, Tim, who had been searching for property on our website for many months. He was in the market for a retirement home somewhere in Southwest Florida – from Marco Island to Sarasota. While my partner, Ariana, and I know the Marco to Ft. Myers area quite well, we needed to find a Realtor who was located north of Ft. Myers.
Priding ourselves on our personalized and informative website, we decided to go through our company’s directory, searching for other Realtors from Ft. Myers to Sarasota who also had great websites.
Ariana came up with a list of four possibilities, and I agreed with her number one choice – The M&M Team (Roxanne & Shannon Moore) in the North Port office.
So I sent an email to the M&M team with the subject line “possible referral from PFWCI WOW Naples team.” I told Ariana that I’d give them 24 hours to reply (I sent the email on a Saturday night), and then I’d move on to the next Realtor on her list. After all, Tim had become accustomed to our responding to his requests within minutes, so I needed to know that the Realtors we were referring him to would do the same.
We did receive a quick reply, and during the following few weeks, Roxanne & Shannon communicated with Ariana and me on a regular basis. We expected the home search for Tim to take a long time – possibly one to three years, since his initial request did not stress any urgency.
However, the first community that came to mind for Roxanne & Shannon, based on Tim’s specs that we sent them, was a real winner. And within two months of Tim’s email to us, he closed on a home in this community.
Had we left it up to chance as to which Realtor got the referral, it’s very possible that our customer would still be looking for his retirement home.
We will now refer all our customers who have real estate needs in the Charlotte/Sarasota County area to The M&M Team. Their service, knowledge, communication, follow-through and integrity are top-notch.
